Holiday Party Fashions

It’s that time of the year again when companies (well, some…) want to thank their employees for their hard work and dedication throughout the year and throw a holiday party.   This is the time where employees can have some fun with their professionalism and show their true, personal colours.

And let’s be honest – who doesn’t like going shopping for a new outfit and dressing to the nines for such events? I have put together three of my favourite holiday style trends for 2017.

  1. For Him or Her:
Why not have your own classic, edgy and stunning “Halloween couples costume” in a his and her business chic suit.  Play off the woman’s style.  If she goes with a nice dark pant and long-cut- woman’s suit coat, and accessorizes with gold & silver pieces such as a necklace, undershirt, shoe or bag, guys, wear your favourite gold watch/ silver watch.  Have a similar coloured bow or classic tie. There are endless ideas, play with it.  I’m sure you will be the talk of the party (in a good way).
  2. For Him:
Sick of the everyday office suit?  Want to ‘cas’it’ up a bit but yet look sophisticated and dapper?  Wear your favourite coloured dress pants (splashes of colour are great at expressing your personality), add your favourite graphic or coloured tee (make sure it matches well with your pants – you don’t want to clash too much) and throw on a sports coat.  It helps give some professional edge, yet the pants and shirt say, “I’m fun, friendly and free outside of work”.
  3. For Her:
There are endless ideas for women and it’s all about how they want to present their confidence self in their style, but are you one of those ladies that have an ever-evolving style & closet and are never sure how to your entrance seen?  Why not try something simple but sophisticated?  Why not wear a long fitted sweater-dress that lays just above the knee.  Remember, you still have to walk in the bitter-cold to get to your party, so throw on some tights or something that will cover those beautiful legs.  Accessorize with your favourite belt, earrings and bag.  This look might really be set off with some creative makeup tones, if that is your thing.

These were just a couple of my thoughts and ideas if I had to go out and help my lady friends with their shopping and styling.  Everyone is different, so have fun with it.  Have any questions about my ideas?  Let us know.  We can help you achieve your perfect look.
